After four years of driving up from Los Angeles at every opportunity, scouring the Mendocino Coast from Westport, in the north, to Gualala in the south (a 75 mile range), for 'our' home -which of course had to fulfill numerous criteria - my husband and I, finally, did engage the services of a local realtor.
